Villa Orchidea is located in northern region of Italy in the historical center of the medieval village of Laglio.

The villa overlooks lake Como with picturesque views while surrounded by a 5000 sqm of gardens dating back to the eighteenth century. The Alps protect Lake Como from cold winds thus providing its inhabitants with a very favorable climate almost year round.

The main building is surrounded by a neoclassical colonnade, which leads to the grand garden terrace and the illuminated large Grecian style swimming pool followed by a picturesque bridge connecting you to a private dock space on the lake.

The Villa is on two levels:

The Ground floor boasts a large living room with an 18th century marble fireplace and furnished with large comfortable sofas and multiple seating areas to take in the scenic views of the gardens, an elegant study, and a reading and music room accompanied with a billiard table. Fresco vaulted ceilings and a dining room with a large stone fireplace dating back to the 17th century set the stage for the perfect dinner party . A spacious fully equipped kitchen with working fireplace, a conveniently located laundry and an elegant powder room.

The First floor has five large double bedrooms with stunning views of the Lake and the gardens. There are three bright and charming marble bathrooms and two living quarters leading to the large and fully equipped terrace directly connected to the garden. Off the garden terrace there is an additional entrance allowing direct access to the old village

The boathouse is fully equipped with every modern comfort: a modern kitchenette, a green marble bathroom, two sofa beds, tv, wifi, a private dock and a large, comfortable solarium.

The Villa is available for weekly rentals.
